PROJECT FREE65

Holy smokes,

Thank you very much, all of those who have once again posted such nice comments of encouragement. I'm truly lucky to have so many you who actually read this and offer your thoughts.

So here I am writing my 4th blog in a week, that is 4 more than last year. So I'm off to a better start than last year!

I think it's very easy to make fake promises on social media, it's easy to say things like "New year, new me" or post pictures of yourself in the gym and how you're trying to get beach body ready. I could easily sit here and say that I am going to work as hard as possible, but at the end of the day what I don't post online you don't know. It's easy to be social media busy.

I've come up with a new project that's going to make me be more productive. It's going to hold me accountable for workflow and will post my failures as well as my successes. It's called FREE65 and I'm going to try to explain it to you all without boring you.

FREE65 is about working for the next 365 days flat out and in some sort of way it's a race to complete those 365 days. So if I work hard two days next week and laze about for the other four. (I'm not including Sundays) then I can tick off two, but not the other four. Realistically, this project could take me a long time, a lot longer than an actual year to accomplish. It sounds long-winded, it sounds boring, but this is a personal goal of accomplishment, not a social media stunt.

Here are a number of the rules that I will be putting in place to help me.

  • BE HONEST WITH MYSELF
  • MUST WORK AN ACTUAL 6/8 HR DAY
  • STAY OFF SOCIAL MEDIA UNLESS PROMOTING MYSELF
  • NO TV DURING THE DAY
  • REMEMBER I'M DOING THIS FOR ME
  • SHOOT ONE TFP A MONTH
  • ANY SORT OF LAYING ON THE BED COUNTS CANCELS THAT DAY (I do this a lot)
  • LEARNING IS EARNING
  • GET DRESSED EVERYDAY (another thing I'm very lazy about doing)

These are only a few of the simple rules that I'm going to try to live by and over time I will try and break them down and explain why I'm using this certain rule.

I will be posting Blogs, Vlogs and posting all over social media my progress as I go and trying to promote this project, hopefully allowing some of you to understand and implement some of these ideas.

I know it's strange that I'm going from nearly chucking the towel into running a fresh project, but I have found I always work better when I have I have a project on the go. This will give me guidance and help me stay focused when I think about jacking it in again. I'm also truly stubborn and this will only fire that, getting a year or 365 days of solid work will not be an option of quitting.

So that's a breakdown of what I'm planning, lots, more to come on this. Please feel free to tell me what you think and if, you have any good ideas that could help I'd love to hear.

Much love, as always

Twisty

Be kind
